CHECKS

If you need to stop payment on a check, download the » Stop Payment Form.

Please complete the form and sign it. You must provide specific information on the item you want to stop including:

  • check number
  • amount
  • name of the payee.

Bring the signed and completed Stop Payment Form to either of our bank locations: Main Bank, 202 S. Main or Convenience Branch, 417 E. Hwy 33. If you have any questions while filling out your Stop Payment Form please feel free to call our customer service department at

Are you a current online banking user?

Simply login to your account and follow the links to submit your Stop Payment request online. We do not require a signed copy for an Online Stop Payment request.

ACH DRAFTS

To permanently cancel a recurring periodic ACH draft, please first notify the company originating the ACH that you want it to be cancelled. Then if necessary you can request a stop payment on the item using the Stop Payment Form and process described above for checks. The same fees apply.

DEBIT CARD TRANSACTION

We are unable to put stop payments on any debit card transactions.

FEES

Payne County Bank charges a fee for Stop Payment services (see Fees Schedule). Your Stop Payment will be active for six months.
